Booking Terms and Conditions with Revival Nepal Adventure
Thank you so much for booking and/or travelling with Revival Nepal Adventure.
Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a trip with Revival Nepal Adventure (hereinafter, we/us/the company). We also strongly recommend that our clients (hereinafter, you/the customers) go through the inclusions/exclusions part of the trip that you choose prior to the booking to ensure that you fully understand the itinerary, mode and physical requirements of the trip you are undertaking.
These Terms and Conditions apply to any travel products and/or services purchased from Revival Nepal Adventure Pvt. Ltd. and govern the contractual relationship between undersigned client and the company with respect to any such travel products and/or services.
All direct bookings are made with Revival Nepal Adventure Pvt. Ltd. (Govt. Reg. No.: 1876/071). By booking a trip or product with us you acknowledge that you:
have read and understand these Terms, and
indicate your definite acceptance of and agree to be bound by these Terms.
agree to settle any disputes that may arise during or after the trip, within the confines of this contract.
If you have confirmed a booking on any Products with more than one client named and booked on such booking, you shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all clients named on the booking (including minors and those with a disability) and travelling on or otherwise participating in any activities, and by such travel or participation all travelers indicate their agreement to these Terms. The client who confirmed the booking is deemed to be the designated contact person for all other clients named in such booking.
Booking a Trip:
The term “trip” encompasses any products, itineraries, or activities that you may purchase or book from Revival Nepal Adventure. This may include Tours, Treks, Expeditions, Adventure sports, Sightseeing or any other planned holiday packages.
A booking is considered confirmed and these Terms shall apply only when Revival Nepal Adventure, or an authorized agent acting on behalf of Revival Nepal, have received the applicable deposit from the client and the client has received confirmation (invoice and/or email) for such booking. The Company reserves the right not to confirm the booking until the deposit amount set out for the clients is paid and has been received by the Company and all the relevant documentation (as requested by the Company) has been completed in full by the client.
Any amendments to or cancellation of the booking shall be subject to these terms and conditions.
Between the period, your booking is confirmed and the contract comes into effect, the company reserves the right to increase or decrease its quoted rates which may result due to direct and indirect consequences of the company’s dealings with their various operations partners, airlines, hotels, etc.
Please note that some tours may not be automatically available for booking, so customers will need to send us a request for availability via the contact page of this website. However, if you are using the tailor-made trip feature on our website for designing your own trip instead, you will automatically receive the form with your preferences and you will not need to send a separate request. You will be charged a deposit only after you receive an email confirmation from us.
Any Client confirming a booking on any Products with more than one Client named and booked on such booking represents and warrants to Revival Nepal that:
they have all requisite consents and authority to make such booking on behalf of all other Clients named on the booking and have communicated all necessary information to the other Clients in order for them to give free and fully informed authorization to do so;
the information that they are providing regarding all clients is complete and accurate, and they have obtained all necessary consents and permissions to share such information with Revival Nepal Adventure for the purposes of completing the booking; and
they will inform all other named Clients on the relevant booking of the applicability of these Terms to the booking and the Clients’ relationship with Revival Nepal Adventures.
As a condition to valid confirmation of any booking with Revival Nepal Adventure, the Client must provide all necessary information requested on the booking form on this website. Necessary details include full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and any pre-existing medical conditions (if any) you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. Your booking cannot be confirmed without provision of these details. Revival Nepal also reserves the right to treat such booking as cancelled and levy any cancellation fees deemed reasonable by Revival Nepal Adventure, in its sole discretion, where Client has not provided full booking details as requested by Revival Nepal Adventure by the relevant time.
Revival Nepal Adventure will not be held responsible for any fees levied on the Client as a result of inaccuracies, late, misplaced, or otherwise incomplete or ineligible information provided by the Client.
While Revival Nepal Adventure utilizes its best efforts to ensure the accuracy of the tour price, due to the nature of Adventure travel and the prices of the resources on which it depends, the prices for any trip (product) published on the website or issued through e-mail is subject to change at any time, before and after booking confirmation, up to 30 days before the departure. In such event Revival Nepal shall apply its best efforts to notify clients of such change as soon as possible.
The trip prices advertised to our clients are inclusive of all government and local taxes. However, Revival Nepal reserves the rights to impose surcharges on any trips (products), but only for reasons arising from increases in transportation costs, fuel costs, entrance fees, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as airport charges, currency and exchange fluctuations, increase in taxes, or government action which impacts the price of the applicable trip(s). This is applicable only where the increase in question is greater than 3% of the original price paid or agreed for the trip. Revival Nepal shall provide prior notice to the affected Client(s) as soon as reasonably possible. When the increase in price is greater than 7% of the price of the applicable trip(s), upon receiving the notification from us, the effected Client(s) may elect to either;
cancel the applicable booking without incurring any penalty, or
accept the change of price.
The Client must notify Revival Nepal Adventure of their election within 14 days of receipt of notice of the increase, or they shall have been deemed to have accepted the price change and have accepted liability for payment of the increase.
For Nepal trips, you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is to be made at the time of booking the trip at least 30 days before departure for your trip. In the case of Bhutan/Tibet/Multi-country trip, a non-refundable deposit of 35% of the total trip cost is to be made along with the due airfares (if in case the client desires that the Company make the arrangements) at least 25 days prior to the departure date.
If the booking is made 25 days or less prior to the departure, a full payment has to be made. The remaining due amount may be paid in cash upon arrival in Kathmandu and before the start of the tour.
The non-refundable deposit is payable to the Company or its authorized agent through whom the Client has booked, depending on the original form of booking. Tailor-made trips, FIT (Free Independent Traveler) tours or certain trips combined with other forms of trips may require a higher deposit or even full payment at the time of booking, which will be advised prior to the confirmation of such booking.
If the deposit is not the same as is outlined in this clause or contract, you will be accordingly informed at the time of booking by the company. Failing to make the deposit, the Company reserves the right to deem the booking as having been cancelled, and to levy the cancellation penalties set out in these terms and conditions.
Mode of Payment:
All booking deposits can either be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa/ Master Card). The remaining due amount should be paid in cash upon arrival in Nepal and before the start of the trip. Please refer to the information provided in the booking form.

Please note that we are not liable for any delay or loss during the transfer process. If in case due to the use of mediator bank or any other reasons if the money received by us is less than the amount sent, you are requested upon arrival to pay accordingly so that the total is equivalent to the trip cost. Which means full trip cost must be paid without any bank deductions. You are requested to e-mail us the bank reference number or remittance slips after you complete the transfer.
B. Payment by Credit Card (Master Card /Visa Card)
As of yet we do not have the provision to make online payments (via Credit Cards) through the website due to the international payments restrictions imposed by the National Bank of Nepal. However, our clients can still make card payments upon arrival at Revival Nepal Adventure office.
Please note that Additional 4% surcharge will be added to every payment made via Credit Card. This applies to all payments; deposits, final balances, trip extension and miscellaneous purchases. This charge is imposed by the credit card payment service provider and is used, in part, to provide consumer protection for the services purchased, in accordance with the terms and conditions pertaining to the credit card being used.
Cancellation of Booking and Refund Policy:
Cancellation by the Client:
If a Client wishes to make a cancellation, it must be done in writing and accordingly acknowledged by the company by email. The date of trip cancellation refers to the date on which the written cancellation has been received by the Company. Depending on the date on which cancellation is made, the company or its authorized agents will determine the applicable cancellation charges.
The cancellation charges are outlined below as percentage of the total tour / trip price:
Cancellations made 50 days or before departure date: Loss of deposit (i.e. total advance deposit shall be refunded, excluding the bank service charges and permits charges, if issued already)
Cancellations made 50 to 20 days before the date of departure: 50 % of the total booking cost.
Cancellations made 20 to 10 days before the date of departure: 90 % of services booked. If total trip cost has been paid, 25% of the total tour cost will be deducted in connection with the booking.
Cancellations made less than 10 days before the date of departure: 100 % of services booked. If total trip cost has been paid, 25% of the total tour cost will be deducted in connection with the booking.
Note that different cancellation conditions apply to some trips and additional services. For example, a tailor-made/ custom trip or FIT trips may be subjected to alternative cancellation terms. We will advise if the differences apply. Please note that for certain travel arrangements the cancellation charge may be higher than those shown. In certain cases, a 100% cancellation fee applies as soon as the booking is made. You will be advised of different cancellation charges at the time of booking. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.
Please also be informed that if the client leaves a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds. The Same condition applies if the client fails to join a trip, join in after departure, or leave it prior to its completion. In such a case, no refunds will be made for any accommodation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
However, the Client will be entitled to embark on a trip or tour with the same price value and with additional supplements charges where required.
Cancellation by the Company:
The Company reserves the right, at any time up to 30 days before departure date and for any number of reasons, on notice to the client. In such event, the Company shall refund the tour price to the client. We may cancel a trip (even those that are guaranteed to run) at any time prior to departure if conditions arise that is beyond the control of the Company like natural disasters, unfavorable weather conditions, political instability, strikes, riots, wars, epidemics, government actions, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
If the Company cancels a guaranteed trip due to any of aforementioned reasons, Clients may transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or trip. Otherwise, Clients can receive a full refund.
In the circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds of the tour price as aforesaid shall be the Company’s sole responsibility to the client. However, the Company will not be responsible for any incidental expenses or damages that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, travel insurance excess, loss of income and non-refundable flights, etc. As such, no claims for any damages, however arising, shall accrue against the Company by reason of a cancellation of the trip.
The client acknowledges that some trips are subject to a minimum booking of 4-5 persons (including the client). If the minimum booking is not obtained, the Company reserves the right to cancel the tour and refund the tour price to the client, in which event the client shall (for the avoidance of doubt) have no claim for any damages against the Company.
Medical Conditions and Special Pre-Requisites
The company has to be duly informed in writing of any medical condition; physical, mental psychological or any other challenging condition that may have a bearing on the client’s ability and fitness to undertake a trip or which may affect the client’s overall fitness for any form of travel.
The client may be refused travel if the company is not notified of such conditions. If the client in question fails to notify the company and results in the cancellation of the trip, it will result in 100% cancellation charges for the client.
Some trips and tours may be deemed unfavorable for clients owing to age factors, mobility, pregnancy, medical conditions – physical or mental. It is the responsibility of the client to check and assess these trips for suitability prior to booking. The company is not liable for providing additional facilities and aids unless agreed upon in writing prior to booking. The company will do its level best to fulfill special requests like a client’s dietary needs and preferences, but since this does not feature in the contract, the company is not liable for fulfilling such requests.
Medical care and facilities vary from country to country and the company does not make any representations, recommendations or guarantees to the level or standard of care or treatment rendered.
Comprehensive and valid travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Your travel insurance must cover and encompass accidents, injury, illness and death, medical expenses (including those related to pre-existing medical conditions), emergency repatriation – which may include helicopter rescue and or evacuation in an emergency or as a means of an air ambulance for medical emergencies and also a personal liability. The company also recommends that the said insurance covers trip cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. Proof of insurance must be carried with you in person and produce it whenever it is reasonably demanded to you by company employees and suppliers. The company is at liberty to cancel or suspend your trip and even activities that form a part of the trip at any given time, even after the commencement of your trip, to which you will have no right to a refund if you are able to provide any evidence or proof of insurance upon rightful request.
Flight Delays and Cancellations:
Please be informed that the weather conditions in the mountains can be very unpredictable; owing to such a nature of the region, domestic flight delays are a fairly common aspect. Revival Nepal will only meet departing city/town food (breakfast & Lunch) and accommodation expenses prior to your trip. However, in instances of return delayed flights, it is the responsibility of the client to meet all expenses, including food and accommodation costs. If you choose to make alternative arrangements, via helicopter flights to avoid such delays, such additional expenditures will be your responsibility.
In addition, Revival Nepal does not bear any responsibility towards expenses that are incurred as a consequence of missed international flights; however, we will assist as best as possible in any other way to make alternative arrangements. Please be informed that ground realities sometimes dictate that we may have to make itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise and which are beyond our control – especially on the field.
If you wish to make any booking changes, a request may be made 21 days or more before your original trip departure; for such amendments, the company will levy a charge of USD 100 per person. If you choose to make amendments 21 days before your original trip departure, the amendment charges may be higher depending on the arrangements the company has made with its partners; hotels, guest houses, ground operators, and airlines.
Visa and Passport:
It is mandatory for you to carry a valid passport and secured an appropriate visa while travelling with Revival Nepal; please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the length of the trip. You can obtain your Nepal visa on arrival in Nepal. As regards Bhutan and Tibet, the company can make arrangements upon request. The visa for India has to be obtained from your own home country.
It is your responsibility to carry with you the appropriate visas for the country that you are travelling to; Revival Nepal cannot bear responsibility if your refused entry into a country or place because you do not have the necessary documentations; permits and visas.
Injuries & Evacuation:
Revival Nepal will not be responsible for any injuries, health conditions and emotional problems undergone by the client during the trip. In addition, our package does not cover any form of insurance. Therefore, it is strongly advised that our clients take out comprehensive and adequate insurance packages, which may include those for medical emergencies and helicopter evacuation.
Services Not Utilized:
No discounts or refunds will be offered as a consequence of unused services borne out of voluntary or involuntary termination / departure from the trip due to ill health, the death of family member, compassionate cases, late on arrival for a tour, premature departure either voluntary or involuntary.
Updating of Terms & Conditions:
The company has the right to revise and update its company policies and terms and conditions. Therefore, it is the client’s responsibility to keep updated on such issues even after booking such trips. The version of the terms and conditions read at the time of initial viewing of our site may be liable to changes due to changes in the ground, costs, government policies, mode of operations, etc.
